Second Grant Award from New York Landmark Conservancy Received
In May of 2011, the Middle Island United Church of Christ recieved a second Sacred Sites grant from the New York Landmark Conservancy to preserve the larlge arched sanctuary windows by fabricating and installing custom storm windows. The $1000 grant is funded when a contract for the work is signed. The congregation is appealing to all to help finance the balance of the project cost which is $5300.
